In the consumer goods sector, a supplier and distributor were seeking to double their mutual business within 5 years…a tall order in a 5% annual growth sector!
DVP was used as a fast action tool to drive alignment between both organizations and to identify the highest value areas of focus. Within sixty days of launch, the teams established a mutual growth plan and quickly moved into action. The teams are one year into this journey with a long way to go, but early results include double-digit growth in 2012 and the supplier (our customer) was named the Vendor of the Year by the distributor.
