Public Service Announcement: We're Hitting The Road

My social media and blogging experts always tell me to not self promote on the blog (here are the offical guidelines), but they are in a meeting right now, so I'm going to anyway.  My story will be that this post adds value to our friends and family by being able to keep track of us over the next few months.

As it turns out...our new book is pretty good.  After officially launching it at the BMA Annual Conference a few weeks ago, we've been invited to dig deeper with leading thinkers and practicioners across the country.  So...for our friends out west and out east, come visit and catch up.  Here are a few places you'll be able to find us and our book co-author Keith Pigues:

We're Social at the BMA

As you may already know, the topic of Customer Value Creation (CVC) came up at the Engage 2010 BMA Conference.  The speaker was D. Keith Pigues, and a few of years ago, the information he provided would have stopped at the ears of the attendees, but now, with the rise of social media, more and more people can become aware ... even if they didn't attend the conference.  

Previously, talking to subject matter experts in a field that's just coming to fruition, would have been next to impossible.  Now, anybody can join the LinkedIn group and discuss their opinions on CVC with not only the thought leaders, but also people sharing the same issues and concerns that they have.  If you don't like full discussions and want to keep things short and to the point, then maybe Twitter is for you.  You can follow #BMAEngage and even see what people said about Keith's talk.

Some believe that there's nothing to gain from social networks, but we feel the opposite is true: When properly used, they let you gain awareness, receive feedback, and interact with the community that drives your product, all with a push of a submit button.  In the future, we're going to continue to be more social with webinars, and we invite you to join in, so that we all can win together!
