During April and May we had some very successful events at the Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) International Conference in San Diego and the Business Marketing Association (BMA) conference in Chicago. We were fortunate to have Steve Liguori, Senior Director of GE Corporate Marketing and Fritz O'Connor, Director of Strategic Marketing, tell the DVP story.
Fritz started the month by speaking to a roomful of Strategic Account managers, the people who handle that largest, most important set of accounts for companies like Emerson, 3M, Schneider Electric and Grainger. He spoke about the impact DVP has on GE's customers across a number of business units and the applications of DVP for Strategic Accounts: deal proposals, product investments, customer campaigns, and growth plans.
Steve then spoke at the BMA about the connections between the GE marketing process, the new GE Works campaign and DVP. Most importantly, he provided examples of the impact of the DVP System on the way GE speaks with customers. We couldn't say it better than Steve.
